I enjoyed your analysis of the Beach Boys "Pet Sounds" album and found it to be very insightful. I too thought that this album was a very real representation of pure musical creativity instead of just following trendy musical formats. Pet Sounds was a very innovative album with many never before heard characteristics. I agree with you that the use of the Theramin was brilliant and definitely gave the Beach Boys a unique sounding instrument to set them apart from the rest. Orchestras and choirs and abstract instruments such as dog whistles, and bicycle bells were also used creatively in the album. Your post was very professional and I enjoyed reading it.
